FAQ's
Who can submit?
Anyone who registers. Breweries, bars, restaurants and liquor stores are also encouraged to submit pictures of their products.
What can I submit?
You can submit any and all beer related pictures.
Please don’t SPAM us, or we’ll SPAM you back…
What photos get published?
Quality photos worthy of being shared. Please make sure you edit your pictures before you submit them.
Please make sure ALL YOUR LINKS WORK and your DESCRIPTION MAKES SENSE and is engaging. Please no sales pitches or ads.
Please NO DUPLICATE images. We will only publish one photo per link.
The more UNIQUE the better. A hibiscus ipa at the local brew pub is much more likely to be posted than your Bud Light at Friday’s.
It usually takes 1-2 days for your submission to appear on BeerCraving so check back often. We DO review every single submission thoroughly, which takes time.
Please use your best judgment when submitting photos.
How do I learn more about a picture?
Just click on the picture and you will be directed to a website with more information.
Can I submit photos with my cell phone?
Yes! All you have to do is send the photo and photo info to beercraving (at) gmail.com
Why don’t my submissions appear on the site?
We receive tons of submissions every day and can only post a select few of them. Make sure your pictures are in focus, have good lighting and are genuinely appealing to others. You are welcome to submit as many photos as often as you’d like, just no duplicates.
How long does it take for submissions to appear on the site?
Honestly, it depends on how many we get each day. Typically less than 12 hours, but at times it can take 1-2 days.
Should I tag my submissions?
We suggest you do…This will help drive traffic to your website and make your submissions more visible in search engines.
How can I advertise on your site?
Please contact us to inquire about advertising. We offer very reasonable rates.
How can I get BeerCraving Gear?
Send us an email with your name and address and we'll send you some free stickers. We are working on building an online store in the near future.
Why don’t you allow negative ratings?
We want to know what is awesome, not what sucks. Too often people dwell on the negative stuff. Feel free to do that on Yelp, but not here. In our eyes it doesn’t benefit our site to allow users to hate on certain beers or breweries. Rather we want our site to encourage users to try new beers, go to new restaurants and experience beer for themselves. We have faith in our users!
